Photodynamic therapy (PDT) has become an attractive tumor treatment modality because of its noninvasive feature and low side e®ects. However, extreme hypoxia inside solid tumors severely impedes PDT therapeutic outcome. To overcome this obstacle, various strategies have been developed recently.
