半乳凝素-3（Galectin-3）是一個(gè)同型細(xì)胞粘附凝集素,，它是由β－半乳糖苷鍵結(jié)合蛋白（Galectin-3 結(jié)構(gòu)域）和一個(gè)層粘連蛋白構(gòu)成的嵌合體結(jié)構(gòu)。細(xì)胞表面的 galectin-3 主要作用和同類細(xì)胞間的粘附有關(guān)，它可以下調(diào)某些盲腸癌和乳腺癌相關(guān)蛋白的表達(dá)，促進(jìn)這些腫瘤的轉(zhuǎn)移,。研究資料表明，Galectin-3 可以和Cytokeratin19 聯(lián)合用于甲狀腺乳頭狀腺癌的研究,，是間變性大細(xì)胞淋巴瘤很有效的參考依據(jù),，還可以作為腫瘤惡化程度的一個(gè)參考指標(biāo),。

Galectin-3 is a homogeneous cell adhesion lectin, a chimeric structure consisting of a β-galactoside binding protein (Galectin-3 domain) and a laminin. The main role of galectin-3 on the cell surface and the adhesion between similar cells, it can down regulate the expression of certain cecal cancer and breast cancer-related proteins, and promote the transfer of these tumors. Research data show that, Galectin-3 can be combined with Cytokeratin19 for thyroid papillary adenocarcinoma, is an effective reference for anaplastic large cell lymphoma, but also as a reference for the degree of tumor progression.
