Washdown Version

The washdown version of the EUM uses stainless steel shafting, USDA approved coating, corrosion resistant fasteners and special seals.

Electro Brakes

Electro Brakes mount directly on a motor or through shaft for basic braking functions.

Segmented and fluted armature disc provides maximum cooling of

TB Series Basic Tension

Annular style 24 VDC tension brakes for light to medium duty unwind tension applications.

M Series Permanent Magnet

Permanent magnet brakes and clutches are ideal for light tensioning applications, such as film and fine wires. They require no external power, have a wide ,range of torque adjustment, have no friction surfaces to wear, and offer chatter-free torque control even at very low speeds.

ATT Series Advanced Technology

Designed for intermediate web tension ranges. Three size ranges.

MTB Series Modular Tension

Modular Tension Brakes (Electro-Disc) are modular caliper type electric brakes used for unwind tensioning. Torque is varied by disc diameter and by changing the number of magnets on the friction disc(s)

Freestanding and Bobbin Wound Electromagnetic Coils

Offering precision layered or random wound coils in freestanding as well as bobbin designs,Warner Electric packages can be engineered to suit the exact demands of your design and operating requirements.

Freestanding coils are custom engineered with the highest quality, bondable magnet wire to achieve the electrical characteristics you need in the least amount of space. An early pioneer in freestanding coil technology,Warner Electric continues to lead the way in smart assembly design and dependable performance.

For maximum versatility in application, bobbin wound coils are also offered in standard or custom bobbin sizes in a range of engineered plastic materials. Each bobbin design can be combined with different magnet wire sizes, pin or insulation displacement terminals and other easily specified components.

Encapsulated Coils

To protect your coil assembly from moisture, corrosive chemicals, vibration and other hard working conditions, anyWarner Electric freestanding or bobbin wound coil can be encapsulated with tough and high temperature resistant thermoplastics.

Additional advantages of this superior protection include improved insulation properties and dielectric strength plus maximum structural integrity and impact resistance in all environments. For many applications, reduced assembly operations are also made possible by encapsulating the coil in a unitized package complete with structural components.

WHY A TORQUE LIMITER?

The objective is to assure efficient protection of man and machine against momentary overload conditions. A Torque limiter is a mechanical protection device which, when an overload happens, the load separates from the drive. The limiters with rotating elements (balls or rollers) can be provided with a limit switch. This permits control of the motor drive system and to stop the machine e.g. Emergency Stop.
