Station Phasor Data Concentrator (PDC)
The SEL-3373 connects to any IEEE C37.118 compliant phasor measurement unit (PMU) or client that adheres to the standard, such as the SEL-3378 Synchrophasor Vector Processor or SEL-5078-2 synchroWAVe Central Software. It is easy to use and configure with the included PDC Assistant Software. Additionally, the SEL-3373 archiving is built in, allowing you to save all PMU data on the solid-state drive (SSD) in the secure database. This ensures that no PMU data are lost if communication with the substation is disrupted. Use the PDC as part of your NERC PRC-002 disturbance monitoring system. Configure up to six different outputs to send data to different locations or organizations, like an independent system operator or a regional coordinating council.
