　　據(jù)悉,，采樣理論是由法國(guó)化學(xué)家和統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)家皮埃爾·莫里斯·基Pierre Maurice Gy創(chuàng)立的 (1924-2015),，Pierre Gy指出，不均勻性是所有采樣誤差產(chǎn)生的根源,，他確立了的Pierre Gy公式,，并建立了個(gè)固體顆粒采樣的理論模型,。而后，Gy在此基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)而發(fā)展了應(yīng)用更為廣泛的模型,，可應(yīng)用于礦業(yè),、冶金、金屬和合金,、水泥,、食品等多個(gè)重要行業(yè)的采樣。
 

　　屆世界采樣與混樣大會(huì)(1st World Conference on Sampling and Blending,，WCSB1)于2003年在丹麥的埃斯比約舉辦,，會(huì)議授予Pierre Gy“顆粒材料采樣理論”創(chuàng)始人榮譽(yù)，會(huì)議全體代表一致通過(guò)設(shè)立“Pierre Gy采樣”,，并在每屆WCSB會(huì)議上授予在采樣學(xué)領(lǐng)域做出杰出貢獻(xiàn)的個(gè)人,。此后，WCSB每?jī)赡昱e辦一次,，分別在澳大利亞,、巴西、南非,、智利,、秘魯、法國(guó)等國(guó)家舉行,。
